The Rasters.io web portal (https://app.rasters.io), a web-based vehicle operations management application available to users and/or organizations that have agreed to the solution's "Terms of Use". This software platform works with telemetry equipment installed on the customer's vehicle, as well as with the Rasters.Navigation mobile application installed inside vehicles. The platform manages information on vehicles, routes and drivers.

Consent
Users agree that by using our site, they consent to:
1- the conditions set out in this privacy policy and
2- the collection, use and retention of the data listed in this policy.
Information provided to the Rasters.io solution
Rasters.io
Information collected in Rasters.io comes either from a user setting up their account, from a representative of your organization entering information about you, from a vehicle connected to Rasters.io and from the Rasters.Navigation mobile application.
In order to use Rasters.io, you or a representative of your employer must provide certain mandatory information such as name and e-mail address. Other information, such as address, telephone number and employer's name, may be provided on an optional basis.
Rasters.io also collects information about vehicles and vehicle drivers, such as GPS position, driver name and vehicle engine data.
When you visit and use our site, we may also automatically collect and store the following information:
IP address, Location, Hardware and software details, links a user clicks while using the site.
Rasters.Navigation
The navigation application is connected to Rasters.io and sends location information (GPS).
Vehicle data
The Rasters.io solution is often used with telemetry equipment installed in vehicles on the vehicle's diagnostic port (ODBII or J1939). Data is temporarily stored on the equipment and sent to Rasters.io via a secure wireless telecommunication service. The data is then securely stored in encrypted databases. Information sent includes, but is not limited to, VIN, vehicle name, odometer, speed, distance, location, RPM, engine diagnostic data (check engine), spreader controller, acceleration, fuel consumption.

Personal data collected on our site will only be used for the purposes specified in this policy or indicated on the relevant pages of our site. We will not use your data beyond what we disclose.

Applicable laws
This policy complies with the laws set out in the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
For residents of EU countries, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) governs all data protection policies, regardless of where the site is located. This privacy policy is intended to comply with the GDPR. If there are any inconsistencies between this policy and the RGDP, the RGDP will apply.
For residents of the State of California, this Privacy Policy is intended to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If there are any inconsistencies between this document and the CCPA, state law will apply. If we find inconsistencies, we will modify our policy to comply with the relevant law.

How long we store personal data
We do not store user data beyond what is necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is collected.
How we protect your personal data
To protect your security, we use transport-layer security protocol to transmit personal information within our system.
All data stored in our system is well secured and accessible only to our employees. Our employees are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and a breach of this agreement would result in the employee's dismissal.
While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure that our user data is secure and that users are protected, there is always a risk of harm. We are unable to guarantee the security of user data beyond what is reasonably practical.
Minors
We do not collect any personal data from persons under the age of 15. Minors must have the consent of a legal representative for their data to be collected, processed and used.

Canada's data protection standards have been deemed adequate by the EU.
